Exhibition Highlights
Phase I: Undergraduate & MFA Graduation
Scheduled from May 31 to June 21, 2026, this phase highlights the Undergraduate Graduation Exhibition, themed "Night Flight" (夜機). This title reflects the journey of 32 emerging artists who, like passengers on a red-eye flight, navigate through darkness toward the brightness of a new dawn. This collection serves as a visual narrative of their academic growth and creative perseverance.
Simultaneously, the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Graduation Exhibition features works by Li Xiaohua and Kwong Chun-hei. Li explores the technicality of digital imagery and the duration of audience gaze in the modern age, while Kwong deconstructs everyday objects to reveal structural tensions, presented through installation and video art. The Annual Department Exhibition also runs concurrently, providing a wider lens into the current pulse of the Fine Arts department.
Phase II: MA Programmes Exhibition
From July 5 to August 8, 2026, the exhibition shifts focus to the MA in Fine Arts Graduation Exhibition (featuring Contemporary Art and Chinese Art creation streams) and the MA Year 1 Exhibition. This segment offers a mature exploration of academic research and studio practice.
