The performance features two creative works:
"1 cm off the ground" Co-choreographed by Wang Jiani and Feng Weidi, this piece examines the state of "suspended breathing"—neither flying nor touching the ground. Through repetition, frequency, and continuous movement, the dancers capture the tension between grounding and rebounding, creating a vast and mesmerizing exploration of physical boundaries.
"Filter" Created by independent choreographer Gunika Aniewa, this work uses the body as a pathway for retrospection. Drawing from Uyghur cultural roots and childhood memories, it utilizes minimalist movements stripped of ornamentation. By balancing exhibition and concealment, it presents a delicate yet resilient stance, provoking deep reflection on cultural symbols.
