Highlights

In our fast-paced urban lives, we often neglect the genuine needs of our hearts. The "Sound Bowl Listening" workshop offers a soul-soothing journey. The Allpamama team has ventured deep into the wilderness to record original natural soundscapes, including the sounds of wind, birds, flowing water, and trees. Accompanied by the unique vibrations of Himalayan sound bowls, participants will be guided through breathing, stretching, gazing, and meditation exercises, allowing them to slow down and embark on a peaceful, stable, and introspective sonic journey. This is more than just a sound bowl experience; it teaches a 10-minute daily meditation technique, enabling you to bring mindfulness and awareness back into your everyday life.

Program Details

As an extension of CU:SU 2026, this workshop is designed to help participants release stress. The session includes:

• Breathing and stretching exercises
• Gazing practices
• Basic sound bowl operation techniques
• Sound bowl meditation and deep sonic relaxation

Instructors & Organizers

The workshop is led by Kelly Lau of Allpamama and co-presented by The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and the Centre for Cultural and Sustainable Development.

Participant Guidelines

• Please wear loose and comfortable long pants.
• Participants are required to lie down during the session; please bring your own yoga mat. Feel free to bring a towel or scarf for warmth as needed.
• The workshop is conducted in Cantonese with some English.
• No refunds or exchanges are provided once tickets are purchased.
