Every year in May, the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society (HKFWS) celebrates 'Family Month', a special period dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of family harmony and traditional values. For 2026, the society presents its flagship event, Homeland 2026, themed 'Sense of Belonging: From Misalignment to Resonance'.
The Theme: Finding Resonance
Living under one roof can be complex. Often, family members operate on different communication frequencies, leading to misunderstandings, unmet expectations, and a sense of isolation. This event aims to bridge those gaps, helping families move from 'misalignment' to 'resonance', turning the home into a truly supportive harbor.
Event Highlights
- Interactive Installations & Exhibits: Engage with creative setups designed to spark family reflection.
- Family Happiness Index: Discover insights and data regarding the state of family well-being in Hong Kong.
- Workshops & Performances: Enjoy complimentary handicraft sessions and live performances throughout the weekend.

The event takes place on May 16–17, 2026, at Maritime Square 1, Tsing Yi. Admission is free. We invite you to bring your loved ones for a warm and meaningful weekend. For more updates, visit the official event page.
