[Factory Art Tour] — JCCAC Guided Tour × Art Experience Workshop (Oct - Dec 2026) [Early Bird]

The Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC) invites you to join the [Factory Art Tour] experience! This series combines space exploration with artistic creation, allowing participants to delve into this iconic local industrial building turned arts hub. With a unique theme and resident artist guiding each session, you will get an intimate look at the artists' workspaces while discovering your own creativity.

Program Introduction

The [Factory Art Tour] is divided into two parts:

• "Factory Tour": Guided by our staff, participants will explore the various art spaces within the centre, gaining insight into the cultural vitality of this creative community.
• "Art Creation": Each month, a resident artist shares their expertise through a themed workshop. This season (Oct-Dec) focuses on "Printmaking," exploring creative ways to use everyday materials for contemporary artistic expression.

Quarterly Workshop Schedule:

1. Oct: Aluminum Foil Intaglio Workshop (17/10/2026) Transform empty beverage cartons into art tools. Using a stylus on the aluminum foil lining, you'll create fine lines and metallic textures without the need for traditional corrosive chemicals.

2. Nov: Monotype Workshop (21/11/2026) Experience the freedom of Monotype. Using bubble wrap, dried flowers, and sequins, you will press textures onto paper to create one-of-a-kind artworks.

3. Dec: Lego Print Christmas Card Workshop (12/12/2026) Turn playful Lego bricks into stamps! Design and assemble your own Christmas motifs, then print them onto cards for a personalized and warm holiday greeting.

Artist

Workshops are led by resident artist Tong Wai-yee (L7-11 Ban Ban), who will share her professional insights and techniques to help guide your creations.

Ticketing Info

• Single Session: HKD 220 each.
• Early Bird Bundle: HKD 620 for all 3 [Factory Art Tour] experiences (Available until 17/10/2026, while stocks last).
• Notes: The activity is primarily conducted in Cantonese. Participants under 12 must be accompanied by a parent (accompanying parents are free of charge but do not receive materials).

• Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If a workshop is cancelled, JCCAC will notify participants two days in advance and process refunds accordingly.
