The "Nordic Mid-Autumn Community Health Walk" will take place on September 26, 2026, at HarbourChill, Wan Chai. Co-organized by various institutions and presented by Virtus Medical, the event offers Nordic walking experiences suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

Program

The event features a variety of engaging activities:

  • Nordic Walking Experience: Led by professional coaches, participants can learn proper technique. Nordic walking is a full-body exercise that effectively improves cardiovascular health and muscle strength. Professional poles are provided for free usage.
  • Festive Carnival: Enjoy lion dance performances and interactive Mid-Autumn festival booth games.
  • Health Promotion: Information booths are available to promote the importance of preventative health management.

Nordic Walking Sessions

Guided walking sessions are conducted by professional coaches at 09:30 and 11:15. These are exclusively for "Virtus Ways" members. Interested individuals are encouraged to register as members beforehand to secure a spot.

Venue & Access

The event is held at HarbourChill, Wan Chai (North of Hung Hing Road, East of Wan Chai Ferry Pier Covered Walkway). The location is easily accessible; it is recommended to take the MTR to Exhibition Centre Station and use Exit A2, followed by a 5-minute walk, or a 3-minute walk from the Wan Chai Ferry Pier.

Ticketing

This event is free of charge. The carnival is open to the public without registration, while Nordic walking sessions require prior online booking. Participants are advised to wear comfortable sportswear and sneakers. Please ensure your hands are free for walking; do not bring large items or trolleys.
