Overview
The New Asia College Drama Society at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is proud to present the stage play 'Dangerous Building' at the JCCAC Black Box Theatre. Originally commissioned by the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre's 'Playwright Scheme (2012)' and written by Cheung Fei-fan, this play is directed by Wong Tsz-hin. It centres on four marginalized individuals living in a tenement building slated for demolition, capturing their raw struggle for survival amidst the relentless sounds of piling.

'Dangerous Building' serves as a profound reflection on the human condition in a rapidly developing urban landscape. Like ants trapped in the crevices of a crumbling structure, these four characters navigate the chaos of their environment, seeking hope in a world defined by rubble. The intimate setting of the Black Box Theatre promises an immersive experience, allowing the audience to feel the palpable tension and resilience of these characters up close.
