Once-in-a-Decade Event: This tour coincides with the 27th Anlong Taiping Qingjiao on Kat O, a traditional festival with over 200 years of history. It is a rare opportunity to experience the solemn yet vibrant atmosphere of local folk traditions and community spirit.

Program Introduction
Organized by the Wu Zhi Qiao Charitable Foundation under the Jockey Club "Environmental" Tour of Bagjiao Recycling and Eco-tourism Education Project, this tour takes participants into the heart of Kat O. Accompanied by guides, participants will visit historical sites, listen to villagers' stories, and experience the traditional customs during the Anlong Taiping Qingjiao. The itinerary combines Geopark exploration with cultural guidance, offering a mix of educational value and leisure.
Important Notes & Logistics
- Assembly and Dismissal: The location is at the Jockey Club "Environmental" Tour of Bagjiao Recycling and Eco-tourism Education Centre in the Sha Tau Kok Closed Area. Participants must apply for a Closed Area Permit independently after confirming their spot.
- Age Restriction: Not suitable for children under 12.
- Dining: Participants should arrange their own lunch on Kat O or bring their own food.
- Recommendations: Wear comfortable sports shoes or hiking gear. Bring sufficient drinking water, sun protection, and mosquito repellent. Those prone to seasickness should bring necessary medication.
- Weather Policy: In the event of a Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above, or Red Rainstorm Warning signal being issued 3 hours before the event, the tour will be rescheduled or cancelled. For Typhoon Signal No. 1 or Amber Rainstorm Warning, adjustments may be made based on actual conditions.
Ticketing
A HK$100 deposit is required to reserve a spot. The deposit will be refunded within 6-8 weeks after the activity concludes. No refund will be provided for no-shows.
