Join us for the "Lucky Island: Mask Making Workshop," a core activity within the "Sun and Moon Celebration: Kat O Jiao Art Tour." Participants will collaborate with local villagers in Kat O to create masks for the parade using traditional paper-crafting techniques, which are recognized as part of Hong Kong's intangible cultural heritage. Using simple materials like bamboo strips, paper, and silk, you will craft unique three-dimensional works in this immersive experience.

Venue & Access

• Venue: Kat O Tree Garden
• Transportation: Participants must arrange their own transport to Kat O. As the location falls within a closed border area, you must apply for an "Individual Closed Area Permit" at least five days before the event.
• Ferry Services: Participants can travel via regular Kaito ferries or special services arranged for the event (HK$40 per trip). Please note that ferry seats are first-come, first-served, and availability is limited.

• Eligibility: Open only to Hong Kong residents with valid ID. Children under 5 are not admitted.
