Let's Make a Knitted Doll Together!

Led by artist Wu Xiazhi, this cozy knitting workshop invites participants to create their very own personalized knitted doll from scratch. A key feature of this workshop is the creative freedom it offers; participants can choose their favorite colors for the doll's hat and clothes, customizing a style that is uniquely their own. Once completed, your handmade doll can become a charming accessory or bag charm, perfect for carrying with you on your daily adventures.

Program

In this warm and creative environment, you will have the opportunity to bring a knitted companion to life. The workshop is specially designed for those who love handicrafts and have basic knitting experience. If you are familiar with the stockinette stitch, you will find it easy to complete this project and enjoy the immense satisfaction of hand-making your own piece. The workshop will be conducted in English with simple Cantonese interpretation provided.

Instructor

Hosted by CHAT (Centre for Heritage, Arts and Textile), this session is guided by textile artist Wu Xiazhi, who will share her expertise in knitting.

The workshop will be held at the CHAT Corridor within The Mills, Tsuen Wan—a vibrant creative hub where art, heritage, and culture converge.
