The Return of N+ MUSEUM

N+ MUSEUM is officially back, setting up camp once again in the gritty, vibrant depths of Chungking Mansions at The Garage. This year, the collective has curated an ambitious showcase featuring 55 of Hong Kong's most compelling artists. Far from the polished, sterile galleries of the city's commercial hubs, this exhibition is a raw, unapologetic dive into the pulse of local creativity.

What to Expect

This exhibition rejects the industry's obsession with market value and institutional validation. Instead, it serves as an open, democratized platform for rebels, emerging talents, and experimentalists. The collection is vast and eclectic, spanning:

  • Traditional Arts: Including painting, printmaking, and intricate ceramics.
  • Modern Expressions: Featuring mixed media, video art, and bold, experimental installation art.

Our collective mission remains rooted in an artist-run museum model, prioritizing the vital, unfiltered energy of creators working in the here and now.

Over the course of the month-long exhibition, N+ MUSEUM will host over 10 unique events. As detailed in our Exhibition Special Programs, these include live experimental music sessions, gatherings for anime and geek subcultures, and candid, potentially controversial forums critiquing the current artistic and cultural establishment. We encourage visitors to come with an open mind—don't get bogged down in deep theoretical questions; simply witness the work and feel the energy.
