"Art at Ping Shan" is an immersive cultural journey that blends history, art, and interaction. Participants are invited to explore the century-old Ping Shan Heritage Trail through a combination of the original interactive theatre piece "Huan Chi Xi Xi," guided tours, and creative workshops, offering a multi-faceted perspective on local clan history and architectural heritage.

Program Overview

Presented by The Absolutely Fabulous Theatre Connection (AFTEC), the event features three core components:

1. Heritage Trail Tour: Join a detective's investigative team to search for a "lost item" along the trail, learning about historic buildings and walled village customs.
2. Interactive Theatre "Huan Chi Xi Xi": Breaking the boundaries of traditional stages, this performance takes place within actual historic sites. It follows a modern girl who travels back to the Ping Shan village of a century ago, creating a dialogue between modern values and traditional life.
3. Cultural Workshop: Guided by a visual artist, participants will observe architectural details and create their own small, personalized architectural pieces.
