Mini Red & Black Notebook Workshop [Quarryside Community Festival 2026]

Highlights

Part of the Quarryside Community Festival 2026, this workshop invites you to relive the excitement of childhood stationery shopping. Under the guidance of professional instructors, you will hand-stitch a miniature red and black notebook, starting from folding paper to finishing the binding, allowing you to experience the delicate artistry and warmth of traditional handcrafted books.

Program

The "Mini Red & Black Notebook Workshop" is more than just a craft session; it is a journey to reconnect with childhood wonder. With Creative Partner Tin Laan from Tien Lung (天上遊雲) leading the session, participants benefit from extensive expertise in book arts. Tin Laan has been actively promoting book arts since 2010 and curating the Hong Kong Book Art Festival. This session provides a hands-on opportunity to learn traditional bookbinding techniques, resulting in a personalized, miniature keepsake notebook.
