About the Exhibition

The exhibition draws inspiration from Søren Kierkegaard’s seminal work, Fear and Trembling. The title concept, 'Bent Back,' is reinterpreted not as a sign of submission, but as a symbolic posture representing the transitional state between stillness and action. Curator Lam Ching-fung challenges viewers to reconsider intuition, suggesting that the act of moving forward in the face of uncertainty is, in itself, a powerful manifestation of faith. The featured artists transform these philosophical concepts into compelling visual narratives, inviting a dialogue between ancient philosophy and contemporary artistic practice, encouraging visitors to reflect on their own existence in shifting times.

The exhibition is hosted at Galerie Ora-Ora, located at Shop 105-107, Block 3, Tai Kwun, 10 Hollywood Road, Central. Tai Kwun is easily accessible via the Central-Mid-Levels Escalator or a short walk from Central MTR station.
