Research Institute for Abnormal Humans

Program Overview

Welcome to 'Research Institute for Abnormal Humans,' a unique stage play presented by Jin Hun 24. This performance is more than just an artistic presentation; it is an immersive exploration of the human psyche. The play invites the audience into a unique 'institute' to observe eleven 'cases' from diverse backgrounds. These cases do not showcase medical symptoms but rather the repressed, ignored, or misunderstood genuine emotions and stories buried deep within modern individuals. Through dramatic performance, the audience is invited into the inner worlds of these characters, prompting a re-examination of the familiarity and strangeness within human nature, seeking resonance within what society might label as 'abnormal'.

Highlights

• A Journey of Psychological Exploration: An exploration of modern internal dilemmas and psychological states through theatrical performance, offering a unique lens to observe human nature.
• Eleven Heart-to-Heart Cases: In a tight 2-hour performance, witness eleven characters dissecting their inner selves, uncovering true emotions and experiences hidden beneath the surface of daily life.
• Profound Reflection: The show redefines 'abnormality,' prompting the audience to contemplate what constitutes 'normal' versus one's true self in the context of modern society.
