The First-Ever Sham Shui Po International Comedy Festival
Welcome to the inaugural Sham Shui Po International Comedy Festival, an exciting new artistic venture landing in the heart of Kowloon this summer. Taking place from July 11 to July 19, 2026, this festival aims to transform Wontonmeen—a culturally rich hub in Sham Shui Po—into a vibrant stage for laughter, storytelling, and community engagement. By bringing together a diverse lineup of Hong Kong and UK-based performers, the event bridges geographical divides through the universal language of comedy.
A Journey Through Laughter
The festival is carefully curated into four distinct themed programs, each reflecting different facets of the human experience, from the struggles of the 'literary youth' to the eccentric tales of the elderly. Whether you are a local resident, a visitor, or a comedy enthusiast, these shows promise to deliver a thoughtful yet hilarious perspective on modern life.

We have organized the festival into four main performance blocks to ensure there is something for everyone:
- Literary Youth Self-Help Plan: A hilarious take on the 'youth' experience, featuring KK, Min, Rain, 詩斧, and Kaming on July 11th.
- Dog-Head Snake Banquet: A bizarre and witty night of comedic performances with 雞毛, Chris, Detong, and SiuOh on July 12th.
- Eccentric Elderly Tales: Stories of the golden generation brought to life by Scarlett, Kevin, 肥松, and 大大 on July 18th.
- Snakes, Vegetables, Cakes, and Rice Dumplings: A final celebratory performance with 老嘢, Joey, Simon, and Gigi on July 19th.
