When Siu Hei's school trip is suddenly cancelled, she feels crushed, but her mother and grandfather decide to step in with a magical surprise. Through the art of Nanyin—a traditional form of Cantonese narrative singing—and the beauty of Tang poetry, they lead her on an unexpected, soul-soothing 'Carefree Journey'.

This production reunites an extraordinary creative team:
