In today's fast-paced society, preparing for potential health changes is more important than ever. This workshop provides a supportive environment for participants to move beyond the fear of death, encouraging them to reflect on their personal care choices and learn how to communicate these vital wishes with loved ones, ensuring dignity for the future.
About the Speaker
We are honored to have Prof. Chan Yue-lai from the Nurturing School of Nursing at the Chinese University of Hong Kong's Faculty of Medicine as our speaker. With extensive professional expertise and practical experience in nursing education and end-of-life care, Prof. Chan will guide participants through the concept of ACP, helping everyone navigate their own life journey with greater peace of mind.
What is Advance Care Planning (ACP)?
Advance Care Planning is an ongoing process that allows individuals to reflect on and document their medical care preferences for future scenarios when they might face serious illness or the end of life. It is not only an act of self-responsibility but also a way to alleviate the emotional burden and difficult decision-making pressures on family members.
