Solo Dance & Improvisation and "Field of Dance" Series [i-Dance Festival (HK) 2026]

Highlights

The "i-Dance Festival (HK) 2026" returns, presented by the acclaimed local arts organization Y-Space. This unique dance event brings together outstanding overseas and local artists to explore the infinite possibilities of contemporary dance through a series of electrifying performances. A group of highly trained choreographers and dancers will take to the stage to showcase their personal styles over three evenings full of creativity and tension.

Program

The series is divided into two main segments. The "Solo Dance & Improvisation" first half features dancers performing self-choreographed works, demonstrating their solid dance techniques and unique artistic perspectives. The second half, "Field of Dance," presents improvisation sessions where various artists perform based on different themes. Every piece is a one-off performance that you cannot miss. Additionally, post-performance artist talks are held after every show, providing a precious opportunity for audiences to interact with the creators and gain deep insights into their creative processes.
