A Hundred Kinds of Fear and Love for the Body

Overview

Every body carries a unique history—from everyday habits and anxieties about appearance to hidden scars, traumas, and illnesses. This cross-disciplinary theatre project is not just a performance, but a dialogue about body memory. Creator Lam Ka-ting has interviewed one hundred individuals from diverse backgrounds, collecting stories of how they navigate, struggle, and coexist with their bodies. These personal testimonies are transformed into an exhibition combined with one-on-one interactive performances.

Highlights

• One-on-One Interactive Experience: Each session features "1 audience member x 1 performer," creating an intimate, exclusive space for exchange and exploring potential for collective healing regarding the body, fear, and love.
• Exhibition and Performance: In addition to the interactive sessions, visitors can tour the exhibition to experience the weight of these hundred body narratives.
• Unique Venue: The event is hosted at V54 on Shan Kwong Road, Happy Valley, a historic building that lends a sense of intimacy and storytelling to the production.

• Exhibition & Interactive Experience Package: HK$280 (Concession tickets available for sessions on December 4-9).
• Note: Not suitable for ages under 12. Conducted in Cantonese, no subtitles.

Venue & Access

Location: V54, 54 Shan Kwong Road, Happy Valley. A limited amount of unlocked storage is available on-site; please avoid bringing large luggage.
