Overview

Windmill Grass Theatre presents their latest original stage play, 'As The Night Ignited.' Set on the second night of the Lunar New Year at the Shau Kei Wan Bus Terminus, the story unfolds when a homeless person approaches a bus driver eating a solitary dinner and takes his meal box. As the distant sounds of the Victoria Harbour fireworks illuminate the sky, their paths cross, creating a poignant and surreal urban narrative that explores themes of loneliness and the fleeting nature of prosperity. This production, written, directed, and performed by Joey Leung and Ahdee Tong, offers a deeply moving exploration of Hong Kong life.
