HYROX Youngstars Hong Kong 2027

Overview

HYROX Youngstars is finally coming to Hong Kong! As the premier fitness race series for the next generation of athletes, HYROX Youngstars is a global movement inspired by the iconic HYROX fitness competition. Hong Kong is set to become the second city in Asia to host this official event, with approximately 2,000 participants aged 8 to 15 expected to join. It is more than just a race; it is a platform to build confidence, resilience, and sportsmanship among the youth.

The Program

The HYROX Youngstars course is specifically designed for 8 to 15-year-olds. The competition utilizes age-adapted movements, reps, distances, and weights to ensure that every young athlete is properly challenged while feeling safe and empowered to achieve their goals. The circuit consists of eight specialized stations:

• SkiErg: Focused on full-body coordination and cardiovascular endurance.
• Sled Push: Testing explosive leg power.
• Sled Pull: Strengthening back and core muscles.
• Burpee Broad Jumps / Frog Jumps: Frog jumps for 8-9 year-olds and Burpee Broad Jumps for 10-15 year-olds to boost agility.
• Rowing: A test of endurance and rhythmic consistency.
• Farmers Carry: Developing grip strength and balance.
• Lunges: Enhancing lower body stability and power.
• Wall Balls / Squats: Tailored resistance squats or wall balls depending on the age group.
