Highlights

The Hong Kong Design Centre's flagship project, "Design @HKG," will take place from November 10 to 24, 2026. Evolving from the popular "BODW In the City," this year's edition brings together 80 to 100 local and international partners to present over 40 diverse cross-disciplinary events. Spanning across the Peak, Central, Sai Ying Pun, Wan Chai, and Causeway Bay, the initiative integrates design aesthetics into daily life, inviting citizens and visitors to rediscover the vibrant design landscape of Hong Kong.

Program Highlights

The event features several must-see attractions:

  • "BREATHE WITH ME—SOFT RESET": Created by Swiss artist and experience designer Annabelle Schneider, this multi-sensory installation will be unveiled at the Peak Galleria. A key collaboration for "Hong Kong Swiss Month 2026," the work uses abstract floral imagery to offer a moment of reflection and serenity above the city's hustle.
  • "Taste of Design" (有品味,品味好): Aiming to weave design into daily routines, this project connects 30-40 locations via pop-up design shops in Central and Causeway Bay, creating an urban exploration route that delights the senses of sight, sound, and taste.
  • "The Unheard Flower Shop" (未聞花店): For the third consecutive year, the event partners with Hong Kong Tramways. Designed by local creative Jason Ho (HO HO CO), the iconic tram is transformed into a mobile micro-theater and flower shop, turning a daily commute into an immersive, artistic journey.
