Highlights
"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." — Proverbs 22:6.
The "JHM Junior High School Group" is a dedicated ministry platform hosted by Saddleback Church Hong Kong, specifically designed for students aged 11–13. As they navigate this critical stage of identity formation and emotional development, we provide a nurturing and supportive environment. Our goal is to help students anchor their values in faith while equipping them to tackle the complexities of campus life and social dynamics. This is more than just a gathering; it is a journey toward discovering a purpose-driven life.
Program Overview
Our program focuses on helping young adolescents find direction amidst the uncertainties of growing up. Through interactive group sessions, participants will be empowered to:
- Build Connections: Form meaningful friendships and learn to express their true selves within a supportive community.
- Deepen Faith: Explore the intersection of faith and daily life, understanding the essence of a meaningful, purpose-driven existence.
- Overcome Challenges: Develop resilience and healthy coping mechanisms against academic, social, and peer pressures.
- Spiritual Growth: Utilize biblical teachings and prayer to rely on the power of the Spirit, allowing them to courageously live out their unique gifts and potential.
This is a dynamic and inspiring space where students can freely express their thoughts and pursue personal development in a safe and accepting atmosphere.
Venue & Access
The event will be held at the "Saddleback Church Hong Kong Ground Hall." We encourage all participants to plan their journey using public transportation and to check route details in the Ma On Shan area to ensure punctual arrival.
