Everything Starts With Breathing 【i-Dance Festival (HK) 2026】

Highlights

"Everything Starts With Breathing" is a featured workshop within the [i-Dance Festival (HK) 2026] series, led by seasoned artist Ma Choi-wo. This workshop aims to break the mold of traditional dance training, returning to the most fundamental physiological instinct—breath. Starting with breath, participants will explore how to transform air and respiration into sound and physical motion, ultimately expanding into the cross-disciplinary creation of dance, text, and music.

Program

This workshop is not merely a dance class; it is a dialogue between body and mind. The curriculum guides participants from simple breathing to the resonance of sound and the extension of movement. Through Ma Choi-wo's unique guidance, participants will delve into their latent creativity, learning how to infuse the soul of text and music into dance.
