Overview
Welcome to "Boundaries and Pulses: Noon’s Neurodivergent (ND) Embodied Perception Laboratory," a significant program within the i-Dance Festival (HK) 2026. This 3-hour workshop, curated by Unlock Dancing Plaza, is specifically designed for neurodivergent adults—including those who are diagnosed or self-identify as AuDHD, autistic, ADHD, or sensory sensitive. It creates a safe, inclusive, and experimental space where participants can drop social masks and performance pressure, using their bodies as a tool for self-connection.
Workshop Highlights
The workshop aims to create a low-pressure environment for exploration. Instructor Ma Man Suen will guide participants through a combination of contemporary dance vocabulary, clear mechanical instructions, rhythmic loops, and sensory regulation techniques. Through these physical practices, participants are encouraged to reconnect with their bodies, transforming movement into a physical tool to soothe the nervous system and explore purely without any aesthetic judgment.
Performers & Team
This event is presented by Unlock Dancing Plaza and led by experienced instructor Ma Man Suen. The production team is composed of seasoned artists and staff, including Ma Choi-wo, Yim Ming-yin, Ho Fong-ting, Wong Hei-yiu, Hung Chun-lok, Yu Hau-yee, Wong Ching-tung, Chin Ching, Christine He, Wong Ho-ming, Yu Wing-yi, Ng Nga-si, and Cheng Chin-ching, all working together to deliver a diverse artistic experience at this year's i-Dance Festival.
