UnpopularOpinion Group Exhibition

Highlights

Curated by Hu Xiaonan, the "UnpopularOpinion" group exhibition draws inspiration from the #UnpopularOpinion trend on social media, challenging conventional attitudes toward dissenting viewpoints. A key feature of the show is its transitional, semi-open installation structure; artworks are displayed in temporary spaces that are dismantled and reorganized between exhibition phases, mirroring the fluid and unstable nature of personal perspectives.

Program

The exhibition is divided into two phases, each showcasing distinct artists and themes:

• Phase 1 (Nov 4 – Nov 18, 2026): Focuses on the artists' connections to personal lineage and material history. The opening reception is held on Nov 4, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
• Phase 2 (Nov 21 – Dec 8, 2026): Explores themes of desire, resistance, and emotional contradiction. The opening reception is held on Nov 21, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Visitors are invited to navigate these fragmented, semi-open spaces and piece together their own interpretations of the artists' hidden clues.
