This sensory experimental performance moves to the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, deepening the exploration of psychological tension and emotional resonance found within Murakami's literature.

Program

This is more than a simple concert or a traditional stage play; it is a profound psychological struggle between repression and resonance. Utilizing music, dramatic dialogue, projection, and shadow play, the production brings to life imagery from novels such as "Hear the Wind Sing," "A Wild Sheep Chase," and "Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage." As characters attempt to build defenses against heart-wrenching jazz rhythms, the melodies linger, illustrating the impossibility of erasing the past. The International Association of Theatre Critics (Hong Kong) has previously lauded the team's ingenious use of diverse media to create a space for deep reflection on life and love.
