Program Overview
'Canine Rising' is a captivating dance performance created by choreographer Clara Furey. The work functions as a sensory ritual, akin to three celestial bodies vibrating in their orbits. Building upon the explorations of her previous work 'Cosmic Love', Furey delves into how sound penetrates bones and how vibrations flow through the body. Featuring performers Justin De Luna, Baco Lepage-Acosta, and Brian Mendez, the performance uses cyclic movements to build a resonant stage architecture, elevating sensations of impact and discomfort into a profound sense of joy and power. The music, also composed by Furey, adds immense depth, inviting the audience to immerse themselves in a hypnotic spiral.
As part of the European project 'ACT: Art, Climate, Transition', 'Canine Rising' addresses the current era of climate crisis and social inequality, offering a message of hope and a call to action.

- Recommended for ages 6 and above.
- Duration: Approximately 1 hour with no intermission.
- Note: Strobe lighting effects are used at the end of the show. Please be punctual; latecomers will not be admitted.

Venue & Access
The performance will be held at The Box, Freespace, located in the Art Park of the West Kowloon Cultural District. Visitors can access the venue by walking from MTR Kowloon Station or Austin Station, or by using public transport routes to the West Kowloon Cultural District.
Ticketing Information
- Ticket Prices: HKD 320 / HKD 280
- Concession Tickets (HKD 180 / 150): Available for full-time students, seniors aged 60+, people with disabilities and their minders, and wheelchair users and their companions. Valid identification is required for entry.
- Group Discounts: 10% off for 4–6 standard tickets; 20% off for 7 or more standard tickets.
