Overview
A surreal expedition through the fog of dementia. Fashion designer Fong Ka-yu is at the lowest point of his life, burdened by copyright lawsuits and heavy debt, all while caring for his mother, Sau-ching, who suffers from cognitive impairment. As her reality crumbles, Sau-ching frequently retreats into a bizarre 'circus world' where she, under her younger name, crafts paper lanterns and frames to protect a nine-year-old boy named Yue-jai. An accident leads Ka-yu to 'travel' into his mother's fantasy realm. Can he, before his mother's memories fade completely, carry her through the intersection of illusion and reality to rediscover the forgotten song 'A Moment of Togetherness'?
