Open a Theatre Blind Box in One Hour

Are you ready to embrace the unknown? Hong Kong Repertory Theatre (HKRep) presents a unique, spontaneous experience: "Open a Theatre Blind Box". This one-hour workshop is designed for anyone aged 18 or above who is curious about the magic of the stage, regardless of their prior experience.

What is a Theatre Blind Box?

Much like a mysterious blind box, the content of this session is revealed only when the instructor and participants meet. The workshop is facilitated by the talented Leung Chi-chung, an experienced theatre practitioner known for his extensive work in theatre education and performance. Depending on the energy and chemistry of the group, the session could involve:

• Theatre Games: Interactive activities to break the ice and build confidence.
• Improvisation Exercises: Spontaneous creation that pushes creative boundaries.
• Movement & Mime: Techniques to express yourself physically.
• Performance Theory & Meditation: Breathwork and theoretical explorations.

This is not a traditional lecture; it is a space for discovery. Whether you are looking to blow off steam or ignite your creative spark, this session aims to "activate human cells and vibrate the soul" within just 60 minutes.
