NOĒMA: NIVA Showcase Concert

Overview

The NOĒMA Institute of Vocal Artistry (NIVA) is an intensive six-day program designed to support aspiring and early-career singers. By focusing on ensemble singing as a foundation for artistic excellence, the institute helps participants build a sustainable vocal career. Led by four guest artists from the world-renowned choir Tenebrae and NOĒMA's Artistic Director, Sanders Lau, NIVA offers a performance-focused environment where participants engage in daily coaching and rehearsals to refine their musicianship, ensemble skills, and communication techniques.

Highlights

The program culminates in a spectacular Showcase Concert featuring eight NIVA Fellows performing as an octet, alongside Tenebrae and NOĒMA. A key highlight of the concert is the performance of Frank Martin's Mass for double choir. This event marks a significant milestone in NOĒMA's mission to nurture the next generation of choral leaders, providing a rare opportunity for emerging singers to collaborate with world-class professionals. A Meet-the-Artist session will be held immediately following the performance.
