Program

Arthur Miller remains one of the world's most frequently performed playwrights. Premiered in 1968, The Price is celebrated for its intricate character development. The play explores the conflicts between family duty, sacrifice, and the value of material wealth. It follows Victor, who gave up his education to care for his father during the Great Depression. Thirty years later, as he returns to his childhood home to sell old furniture, he is forced to reckon with his brother, his wife, and a wily furniture dealer. This production promises intense emotional depth and powerful performances.

Performers

Translated and directed by Wu Hoi-fai, the cast includes Hong Kong Drama Awards Best Actor winner Lo Man-kit, alongside experienced actors Lau Shek-yin, So Yuk-fai, and Cheung Pui-tak.
