"The Rebirth Family" is the latest work written and directed by the acclaimed Japanese filmmaker Hirokazu Kore-eda, known for his Palme d'Or-winning film "Shoplifters." Following his success with "Monster," this film marks his tenth entry to the Cannes Film Festival. Notably, it reunites Kore-eda with actress Haruka Ayase for the first time in a decade since their collaboration on "Our Little Sister."
