AFTEC's 'Learning Through Theatre' program aims to empower young people by enhancing their expression, communication, and critical thinking skills through the medium of drama. The project features carefully selected stories by international and local playwrights designed to resonate with youth and spark deep reflection on societal issues.

Program

Scheduled for July 18-19, 2026, at the Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre, the event combines dramatic performances with interactive discussions. Students are encouraged to connect these narratives with their own life experiences and exchange thoughts on the underlying social themes.

Performers

Participating groups include the Youth College (International), HK Design Institute, Chinese YMCA College, TWGHs Lui Yun Choy Memorial College, HKBU Affiliated School Wong Kam Fai Secondary and Primary School, Hong Kong Sea School, Fung Kai No. 1 Secondary School, and Christian & Missionary Alliance Sun Kei Secondary School.

Venue & Access

The performances will be held at the Theatre of the Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre. Visitors are advised to take the MTR to Sai Wan Ho Station for easy access.

Ticketing

• Price: HKD $120
• Concessions: Half-price tickets are available for full-time students, people with disabilities and their minders, seniors aged 60+, and CSSA recipients. A 10% discount applies to purchases of 4 or more standard tickets.
