This course invites you to dive into the vibrant and aesthetically unique world of street art. Whether you are an absolute beginner or an enthusiast looking to refine your skills, this workshop will guide you through the foundations and help you discover your own unique lettering style.

Program

In this course, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the history and evolution of graffiti culture. Under the systematic guidance of instructor Hung Ka-ho, you will learn essential techniques from scratch:

• Graffiti History: Explore the roots and development of street art.
• Tagging: Master the art of conceptualizing your own unique signature.
• Throw-ups: Learn the classic, rounded lettering style and rapid filling techniques.
• Wildstyle: Tackle complex letter structures and dynamic compositions.
• Spray Can Control: Professional training on controlling the spray, nozzle ranges, and color application.

Performers

Led by artist Hung Ka-ho, who brings extensive experience in the street art scene to guide students through the entire creative process, from initial sketches to surface execution.

Venue & Access

Classes will be held on the 15th Floor of the Hong Kong Arts Centre in the heart of Wan Chai, offering convenient access for students from all districts.

• Tuition Fee: HKD 2,490 (includes HKD 250 for materials).
