Expressive Arts Therapy Experience and Application Course

Highlights

This course is designed to lead students into the essence of expressive arts therapy. Through systematic experience, participants will encounter five major artistic mediums including visual arts, dance, drama, music, and creative writing. You will not only personally experience the healing power of various art forms but also learn how to apply these techniques in daily life to help yourself and different communities promote physical, mental, and spiritual health.

Program

This is a four-week introductory workshop suitable for students interested in expressive arts therapy. The course structure covers the following key points:

• Introduction and experience of expressive arts therapy
• Application techniques for visual arts and music
• Sensory exploration of dance and drama
• Practical applications of creative writing in emotional expression

The course is conducted in Cantonese with English supplementary explanation to ensure students receive comprehensive and in-depth guidance.

The course will be held on the 15th Floor of the Hong Kong Arts Centre, 2 Harbour Road, Wan Chai. Located in the heart of Wan Chai, the centre is a vital cultural space for promoting arts and education.
