Highlights
Designed for urban dwellers, this healing journey combines 'tea therapy' and 'mindfulness' to guide participants in reconnecting with themselves through the art of tea brewing and tasting. It is more than just drinking tea; it is a mindful practice focused on awareness and letting go, helping you lift burdens off your shoulders and experience true inner peace.
Program
This workshop series guides participants through a journey of 'Tea Breaks,' inviting you to notice subtle changes in your body and mind:
- Shoulder Relaxation: Learn to release responsibilities and shed burdens, creating space for free and natural breathing.
- Ear Massage: Use simple touch and massage to signal to your body that it is time to enter a state of deep relaxation.
- Body Scanning: Observe subtle sensations in your body and capture changes in muscles and breathing, discovering differences you have never noticed before.
- Brewing and Pouring: Focus on the unfurling of tea leaves, feel the rhythm of water and temperature, and grasp the wisdom of 'letting go.'
- Self-Hug & 'Soul Tea': Offer yourself a tender, heartfelt blessing and experience the warmth and comfort of being cared for while sipping on 'Soul Tea.'
Performers
Presented by Yau Cha Kwun (Spiritual Tea House) and guided by Zen Tea Master Agnes Ho. With her professional expertise in Zen tea, she will lead each participant into a dialogue with their inner selves through the aroma and warmth of the tea.
