A Fantastic Breeze: Selection of Folding Fans from the Jingguanlou Collection

By juxtaposing the Jingguanlou collection with the Hong Kong Museum of Art's own Chinese paintings and calligraphy, the exhibition invites visitors to immerse themselves in the refined world of literati aesthetics from the late Qing dynasty to the modern era. ## Program Introduction "A Fantastic Breeze: Selection of Folding Fans from the Jingguanlou Collection" is a key exhibition at the Hong Kong Museum of Art. It aims to showcase the development of Chinese painting and calligraphy through precious folding fans, many of which were generously donated by the renowned Hong Kong collector, Dr. Wong Kwai-kuen. The exhibition, divided into two phases, displays a diverse array of masterworks that capture the essence of the scholar-official lifestyle.
