Highlights

Say goodbye to digital screens this summer and join the "Tai Po Summer Sports Adventure!" at Luk Heung Commons. Designed by Registered Social Worker and founder of Soulscape, Winnie Ng, this program integrates sports, arts, and positive psychology (PERMA and V-Vitality) to create an energetic developmental space for primary school students. Through weekly game-based physical challenges, children will not only enhance their physical strength and cardiovascular health but also learn to communicate, collaborate, and build resilience when facing obstacles.

Program Structure

The 8-session program, held 2 hours per session, follows a progressive curriculum divided into three stages:

  • Sessions 1-3: Foundation & Rules: Focuses on fundamental movements including running, jumping, throwing, and catching, while developing listening skills.
  • Sessions 4-6: Teamwork & Competition: Introduces challenges such as three-legged races and obstacle courses, encouraging children to support each other and collaborate.
  • Sessions 7-8: Co-creation & Carnival: A concluding phase where children participate in designing games and sharing their sporting achievements with their parents.

About the Instructor

The course is led by Registered Social Worker Winnie Ng. With extensive experience in the community, Winnie specializes in organizing social-emotional groups, focus training, and various sports activities for schools and community organizations, dedicated to helping participants build confidence and holistic balance through positive psychology.
