Highlights

Toolbox Percussion presents the 'Beat the Rhythm in Tai Po' creative project as part of the 2026-27 '18DArt' Tai Po Community Performing Arts Scheme. This workshop series aims to promote percussion culture within the community and is open to youth and adults interested in exploring the world of percussion. Participants will have the chance to try various percussion instruments, develop rhythm skills under professional guidance, and build a strong foundation for future advanced learning.

Program Details

This project offers a series of workshops designed for residents of different ages and backgrounds. The curriculum focuses on introductory percussion techniques and creative exploration, encouraging participants to experience the vitality of music through hands-on playing. Applicants residing, working, or studying in the Tai Po district will be given priority.

  • Eligibility: 13 years old or above

The content for each workshop is the same; participants may select one session to attend. Places are limited on a first-come-first-served basis.
