"Destination", presented by the Hong Kong United Youth Drama Project, is an absurd theatrical performance exploring the complexities of family life. The story revolves around Yu Zailiang, a man who has spent his entire life working for his family, only to find his own wishes disregarded. When he suggests a trip to a mysterious "land of happiness," his sudden disappearance triggers an absurd quest for answers. Through a series of mysterious clues—a letter, a sealed jar, and a psychic's prophecy—the family's search leads them down a path of bizarre encounters, ultimately unveiling a truth that reaches all the way to Yu Zailiang's coffin. This play offers a deep dive into the struggle between family expectations and individual will.
