Using Hong Kong—a city perpetually defined by its own shifting rhythms—as the site of the first throw, the artists invite visitors onto a metaphorical chessboard. Here, we are encouraged to gaze at the moment the dice settle, attempting to reclaim a sense of observation amidst the chaos and loss of control.

Concept & Themes

At its core, this exhibition investigates the delicate balance between randomness and inevitability. How do we navigate the uncontrollable aspects of contemporary life? The artists explore the capacity to "allow" events to unfold and to search for the faint, unextinguished light amidst the noise. It is a visual dialogue centered on reflection, keen observation, and the act of re-establishing connections.
