Hopewell Centre in Wan Chai is set to host 'Exotic Pets World 2026,' a 25-day exhibition combining education with interactive experiences. The venue will be transformed into naturalistic habitats, showcasing over 15 rare amphibian and reptile species, including Bearded Dragons, Sulcata Tortoises, and Axolotls, making it an ideal destination for family outings and nature exploration.

Program Introduction

The exhibition features four themed zones: 'Amphibian & Reptile Habitat,' 'Aquatic & Crustacean Zone,' 'Giant Tortoise & Lizard Interactive Zone,' and the 'Conservation Theme Zone.' In addition to the displays, the upgraded 'Amateur Zoologist' summer course is returning, now offering English-language sessions. Participants can put on explorer gear to enter the behind-the-scenes area, experience animal feeding, measure environmental data, and study animal behavior firsthand.

Workshops

Over 10 different themed workshops are available throughout the 25-day event, allowing participants to learn through play, including:

• Paludarium and Crayfish Care Workshops: Assemble your own ecological tank and learn water quality testing.
• 'Amber-style' Specimen Soap Making: Create unique decorative soaps inspired by amber fossils.
• Insect Specimen Preparation: Learn professional mounting techniques for beetles and scorpions.
• Moss Art and Terrarium Building: Explore the design and creation of micro-ecological systems.
• Carnivorous Plant Bog Tank Workshops: Learn about the biology and cultivation of insectivorous plants.
