Program Overview

The Hong Kong Arts Centre presents "Jingle Joy Christmas Art Camp: An Unconventional World of Oil Painting," a workshop series designed for young artists with some painting experience. This program invites participants to step beyond the boundaries of traditional landscape painting and venture into an experimental realm of oil painting.

Guided by instructor Leung Man-ho, the course draws inspiration from both Western surrealism and modern Chinese ink painting. Students will move beyond the paintbrush, utilizing diverse techniques such as marbling, scraping, and splashing to create surprising visual textures. It is an opportunity for young artists to unleash their creativity and reimagine winter landscapes, exploring the delicate balance between figurative and abstract art.
