Overview

"Future Arts+ : Next Generation Visual Arts Lab" is a visual arts course specifically designed for teenagers aged 12 to 16. Serving as a crucial bridge between children's art exploration and advanced creative practice, the program provides professional guidance for those aspiring to deepen their creative path, fostering growth in an inclusive and inspiring studio environment.

Highlights

The curriculum offers comprehensive training ranging from skill refinement to artistic storytelling. The core module, "Tricks of Realism," focuses on drawing and painting, covering techniques such as form observation and measurement, shaping light and shadow, and mastering contours and color blending. Students will study the techniques of legendary artists including Leonardo da Vinci, American photorealist Chuck Close, and contemporary German master Gerhard Richter. Through these historical and modern perspectives, students will learn that "drawing realistically" is merely the foundation, rather than the ultimate destination, of creative expression.

Performers

The course is taught by experienced art instructor Leung Man-ho. With hands-on guidance, the instructor is committed to fostering a new generation of creative talent, reflecting the Hong Kong Arts Centre's long-standing dedication to arts education.

The classes will be held on the 15th floor of the Hong Kong Arts Centre, which is easily accessible for students.

• Course Fee: HKD 3,590 (materials fee included).
