Program
The workshop spans three sessions, totaling 12 hours, guiding participants through the systematic mysteries of letterpress:
- Fundamentals: Understand the differences between Chinese and English typesetting systems and learn standard letterpress operations.
- Typesetting: Select Chinese and English type from the cases and manually arrange your layout.
- Image Making: Use resin plates to create graphic elements, achieving a unique mix of text and image.
- Production: Experience the tactile joy of printing your final design using an Adana hand press.
