Highlights

Infants are naturally attuned to their parents' voices above all else. This interactive vocal workshop, designed for parents, explores how the steady, calming rhythms of Baroque music can soothe the nervous systems of both parent and child. It is an opportunity to learn how to weave classical artistry into your daily parenting routine.

Program

Led by renowned tenor Robert MacFarlane, this workshop focuses on a calming lullaby from the 17th-century opera 'L'incoronazione di Poppea' (The Coronation of Poppea). Baroque music, known for its elegant and stable characteristics, is a powerful acoustic tool for reducing heart rates and promoting relaxation.
