Theatre Space presents the Tony-nominated masterpiece "Time Stands Still" by American contemporary playwright Donald Margulies. It is a poignant exploration of trauma, healing, and human choice that is not to be missed.

Program

The story follows war photographer Sarah, who is forced to return to a mundane apartment to recuperate after being severely injured in a bombing. Used to capturing life-and-death moments at the frontlines where "time stands still," she struggles to navigate the silence of domestic life and the growing emotional distance from her partner, James, who is also a war journalist. As friends visit, the contrast between conventional happiness and the cruel realities of war forces the characters to confront difficult choices regarding love, responsibility, and the tension between stability and risk.

Performers

Led by Artistic Director Liu Suk-fun, the production features a stellar lineup including Tang Wai-kit, Chow Wai-keung, and Chiu Yi-yi, performing in Cantonese to deliver an intense and compelling theatrical experience.

The performance will take place at the Sha Tin Town Hall Cultural Activities Hall (1 Yuen Wo Road, Sha Tin). The venue is easily accessible via the MTR Sha Tin Station.
