"Classical Meets Fashion" Community Concert — 2026 Community Cultural Ambassador

Highlights

"Classical Meets Fashion" Community Concert is part of the 2026 Community Cultural Ambassador programme, meticulously curated by Music Assembly. The concert aims to explore the tradition of European classical music borrowing from folk and Eastern elements while infusing it with contemporary musical sensibilities. The ensemble features a fusion of European classical instruments, traditional Chinese instruments, and modern electronic instruments, bringing the brand image of original Hong Kong music into the community through unique crossover arrangements.

The concert features a diverse repertoire, including adaptations of classical masterpieces and modern compositions, embodying the collision between "classical" and "fashion":

The concert will be held at the Recital Hall, 8/F, High Block, Hong Kong City Hall. Audiences can take the MTR to Central Station and walk to Edinburgh Place via the footbridge.
